Ometepe Spanish School Activities Punta de Jesus Maria (best place to photograph the two amazing volcanoes on the island) Local Museums: a museum of local history and an archeological museum Beach trips Canopy tour Easy hike to Cascada del San Ramon, a beautiful waterfall. Climb to the top of a volcano (extra fee applies to pay for a guide) as part of the Cascada del San Ramon activity. Note: this is a very strenuous hike so students should be in good physical condition to participate. Visit local farms Horseback riding Natural springs and other beautiful outdoor points of interest Visit to local orphanage Visits to el Charco Verde nature reserve It is possible to do all this and more in your week at OSS as we can fit several activities in a day.

Prices

- Visit Ometepe to climb the volcanoe Concepción. One day trip includes guides and round trip transportation. Minimum of 4 people. $35/person.

- Two day tour of Ometepe. Trip includes round trip transportation from San Juan del Sur, homestay with a local family or stay in a hostel, visit to the beautiful waterfall of San Ramon, and swimming in the Ojo de Agua. Enjoy this unique Nicaraguan experience and learn interesting new vocabulary. Trip includes two experienced and fun Spanish teachers who have led many successful trips! Minimum of 4 people. $100/person.

Note: The school is very close to the island's dock and we will make arrangements to meet you at the dock when your ferry or boat arrives.
